go back to your seasonal character and claim the challenge rift loot.

Do the Challenge rift (prepare by check the streamers/youtube on tips for completing it).

Enter adventure mode game and grab your followers weapon.

(Decide on a character/class now, you can create it now as a non-seasonal and just rebirth them when the season starts to go faster.)

DO NOT run next weeks Challenge rift until the Season has started.
